Trust:
Assured resting of the mind on the integrity, veracity, justice, friendship, or other sound principle, of another person; confidence

It’s to hard to find someone who you trust. People, friends or even companies can be difficult to analyze in order to know if you can trust or not on them. I’m going to talk about a company (who yesterday made me change my opinion about them) on this blog post.

Let’s see, where do I should start? I think that’s better if you know that I’m the owner of a Nokia Xpress Music 5800, and personally I love my mobile device.

Everything began two weeks ago when my Nokia was apparently passing through a difficult age, can I call it.. Nokia’s teenage?. Firmware, Hardware and even some apps issues were driving me crazy, so I decided to go to the mobile’s Doctor @ Movistar. One week passed by and I was waiting for my Nokia device when they called my dad and said him:

What they said:
Tendremos su celular para eso del viernes en la tarde.

Ok I’ll trust them, I thought. Friday’s afternoon and my dad brought home a “brand new Nokia 5800” because mine was having serious issues. I was happy and everything seems to go back to normal.

Today, I woke in the morning feeling like “mareaMe, Movistar”. First, I left my mobile device charging since 6pm and they told me “It’s a brand new phone so you’ve to charge it 24 hours first” When I saw it today, it was turned off, it didn’t charge, and the cherry of the ice-cream… IT WAS MY NOKIA’S OLD BATTERY.

I mean, seriously Movistar, if you think “Brand new device means” a Transformer with the same battery as I had before, the same stylus and probably other old parts, we have to talk. What’s the deal with and old battery? I’ll explain: The batteries have a lifetime, the only thing that they are pretending is that my guaranty reach to the deadline so if my battery have issues they can say “We don’t know what happen it’s a brand new battery and you’re not on your guaranty period.”

I’m very disappointed with these “decision” you made and I’ll make the report on Monday. I hope you get it fixed soon, I trusted on you. That’s one of the thing that I talked in a speech on Thursday, credibility is one of the most important fact a company have to develop if they want to have influence over people.
